So yeah, it is a month gone and so much has happened over that time and not much on this blog...
You know - Busy people and not much time to do the things we should have done and all....
If I can tell you one thing – it is not to trust Windows Vista on your workstation – it is a complete dog, and one year into using it I am still swearing at the silly thing....
Anyhows, since our last true blog we have been out and about on tours around the seaside, playgrounds and even had play with some motorbikes... With the great weather that we are having – who would want to be stuck inside!!!!
The weekend between Nana Glentworth’s funeral, we were lucky enough to have little beach batch in Kai-Iwi to stay in for a couple of nights. We had Madison and Sophie (because Aaron & Kiri where in Australia for a wedding and Kyle’s funeral), Nana & Grandad Brunton came and stayed as well. It was really cool there – we all had a great time making sand castles and Thia got a taste for the sand (literally).... The playground there was pretty cool also as too was the weather... Thanks to Christine and Karen for organising it all)....
As we didn’t know when the funeral was going to be when we left for the beach, we packed only our beach clothes – it wasn’t till later that night we found it was on Monday... So we decided to go and buy some more clothes rather than go and pick some up. So we met up with Karen & Alan and Nana Mantle. After shopping till we dropped, we chilled out in the Wanganui playground and had a play (Thia was a great excuse for Karen & Alan to play on the slides and swings – they are just big kids!!!! – hehehehehe)
On that Monday it was Nana Glentworth’s funeral – a great send off for a very great nana!!!!.. We love you very much and will tell Thia all about you!!... Thanks again for the spending your last moments with us...
Then on Thursday to Saturday it was Daddy Daycare!!!! – Steph was off to the Justin Timberlake concert – we all loved it!!! (although there was very little (or none) housework done – TUT TUT!!!!). Thia loved seeing her Mum again, and the presents!!! Hehehehehe
The next weekend we had some visitors from Taranaki – Brett was trading his motor bike in to a Wellington shop, so we a perfect excuse for Paula, Reeve, Blake and Nana Mantle to visit us. Thia loved the visitor (although they only stayed for one night). Steph loved the shopping!!!!.
Brett got his trade-in done with (although there was a little accident involved with the old bike) – he was very happy, so Thia & Reeve had a go with it – but the handle bars where to far away...
Movember is all over.... not time for chopping it of just yet though!!!
OK - the two girls have just woken up... talk soon (I promise!!!)
