Hello - how are you guys going??

We are just fine... Thia is now very much 'ruling the roost' with the two of us (but it is great!!)..

Steph is doing fine, although a little sleep deprived... and I'm just doing what I am told to do...

Thia had her first trip to the chiropractor on Wednesday, nothing major - just to get her neck so she didn't spin round as much as it does... She favours one side when she is sleeping... All was OK...

Thia is a still gaining weight, although after a nappy change she is a wee bit lighter..

Cinder-fella is going back to work... (this is a FUN blog!!)

So, this is my last Blog.... as a full time Cinder-fella... that is.... hehehehe

My two weeks of cleaning, cooking (poor Grunta - hehehehe) and looking after Thia and Steph after her c-section, and now I have to go back to work (BUGGER!!! - even if it is part time this week...)

It's been a wicked experience getting to know my two girls for the first two weeks as a new family.. You can bet there is more of that to come!!!!

Although Steph is not fully recovered - Cinder-Fella will return after the hours of 3:30pm this week...

Almost 2 weeks old!!! (WHOLLY COW!!!)

Yello,

It's just about been two weeks since Steph and my life got a little more busier since Thia was brought in to our lives!!!. WHOLLY COW!! - can you believe it!!??

Thanks for joining us on the roller coaster with us... It's been a wicked ride - and its just started!!!.

So what has been happening since the last blog?? - 300+ nappy changes, 40+ hours lack of sleep (NOT!!!)....

The two girls are getting on well... Thia is liking the boobs lots and Steph is enjoying being a mum... And I am just doing what I am getting told to do... (nah - being a dad is wicked!!!)...

On Friday, Thia went to Steph & my works for a look around (more like a show off) - many 'Goo's by lots of people... all was good.. heaps of kids from Stephs daycare swarmed over Thia -Thanks to one little boy even showed us how far Thia's fingers could bend backwards..

Then Thia was invited by her first disco - it was Sophie's kindergartens disco - Thia didn't find any little boyfriends there...

Other than that, the weather in Palmy has turned from 'sunny' to 'rainy & windy' - so it has been inside for us most of the day...

But I did find time to spend by myself - I went to Bunnings (I have to get back my "man badge"!!)

Little update...

Hey there,

Just a little check-in.... all is great here at the moment...

Steph and Thia are doing really really well.. Has been a great week here with all the three of us doing very little, but are getting to know each other as a new family...

The midwife came in earlier today - she is amazed at how the three of us are doing... She weighed Thia and said Steph is a very good cow!!! - Thia has gained more weight, and is now just over 9 lbs (or 4kg)...

Grant is back to work (part time) next week - so that could be interesting...

Nothing is planned for the weekend... so you are all welcome to visit if you like..

An update from us at home....

Yello to everyone...

We are home YAY!!! and things have been very very busy... we have been having some great times with Thia. Her sleeping has been great at nights (so far!!! - better touch some wood).. We have had 4 hours sleeps - so, so far is not so bad...

Steph is doing well with the feeding... although at the end of the day is pretty beaten up..

I have been in the kitchen - been cooking up a storm for our guests.. I do wonder why the smoke alarms haven't gone off!! (yet!!)

Once again - Thank you all for the wonderful gifts you have given us!!! - they truly are wicked!! - We have had to buy more draws for Thia's room!!!

So apart from the sleeps, meals and baths... we are doing really well..

Also - a big thanks to Halliwells (Thia's Poppas work) for the really cool flowers..

Home on Saturday

Hello,

All is good with the two girls - it is home time on Saturday - YAY!!!

Not got much time to talk at the mo - got vacuuming and washing to do before they come...

Thanks to everyone has who has come to visit us in the hospital... And thank you so much for your gifts - we appreciate it LOTS!!!!

She is so cleaver - She can even walk!!!

YES, IT'S TRUE!!! - we do have a cleaver girl!! - Today, she took her first steps!!!!...
Before you say "Yeah right - Your bullshirt Grunta!!!" - I am talking about Steph!!! - she can walk!!.. again... And she can even see her toes now!!!

The two flatmates didn't sleep at all well on Tuesday night - the smallest one even got detention and was carried out to the nurses station for some time out.. While the other one got some sleep by herself..

After awhile they decided to be nice to each other.. but from all reports it was a late night.. (The start of something?? - I think so!!)

In the morning, she (not Steph - Thia that is!!!) had her hip check - all OK

Then it was Steph's check-up, all was OK - she now has the drips and stuff off her and even made it to the shower for a good scrub up...

Steph has had some really cool nurses up there - especially one nurse - she could talk a nun in to having sex in 5 secs!!... We have had the best treatment from them all..

Anyhows, Thia couldn't be out done by her mum - so with a bit of help from dad (WHOA!!!) she got her first scrubbed up... for me, it was a pretty cool (not the water) experience... After that, Thia was out to it and slept most of the rest of the day...

Thia's room is now looking like a florists than a new born baby place.. (Thanks lots!!).

Also a big shout out to everyone that has come to see our little beauty.... If you are around - please feel free to drop in, we need a photo of you with little Thia.. There is also a suprise pressy for the person who is the most cluckiest (TIP: You will have to beat tears!!!)
